Lightningstar stretched out in her new den, with new responsibilities. ColdClan had flourished, and was in good shape.

After a day full of good hunting, Lightningstar stretched and settled down in her den. Sleep soon over took her, and she dreamed of an evil clan, set out to destroy all others. Lightningstar twitched in her sleep as dream flames engulfed her, and she saw a silvery tabby she-cat commanding the destructive Clan.

A cat walked towards Lightningstar, his pelt glimmered in the Moonlight. He looked at her eyes and spoke in his voice that Lightningstar should now well, Him being Silentstar, "Lightningstar. It is good to see you again. I see you not in a happy way though. StarClan is upset and wishes to speak to one cat in each clan. We do not think the tiger cubs will be able to suceed. They will need all the help the four cats can give them. Please, stay at four rocks after the gathering and meet with the others. Starclan is moving further and further away, the old leaders are staying behind though, we do not want to give up yet. Please, save the Clans, including StarClan." With that Silentstar nodded his head and walked backwards slowly. When he was far enought away, his shape flickered out, leaving nothing there.

Lightningstar twitched in her sleep. That was Silentstar! Silvery tears formed in her eyes, crystalline orbs of salt.

At this point, the lines of a riddle that had been uttered in her ears long ago came to her mind. Lightningstar recalled these words with a gasp. She remembered two particular lines, and they rang menacingly in her head: StarClan's message shall set us free, But from you the ultimate sacrifice there will be The tabby she-cat shook her head. What sacrifice could possibly be more than death? She would surely readily give all nine lives up for her Clan. She still was wondering this when she realised it was time to go to the Gathering.
