The five tiger cubs walked silently side by side. They hadn’t spoken since their mothers had left them by the twoleg house. They were now very close to trees. A forest, sort of like the jungle their parents had always talked about. The first one to walk in was male, his coat was darker than the rest of the cubs and he had acted as a leader all the way there. His eyes were yellow like normal tiger eyes. When they all got further into the forest, they stared in awe at the big trees, most of them bigger than the ones at the zoo. They found themselves surrounded by strange flowers that they had never seen before. They also scented something else new, but they couldn’t put their minds on it.
They had been walking for what seemed like forever when finally they came to a clearing. The moon shone on this clearing at the moment, making it sparkle. Down in the center were four rocks. One surrounded by wet marshy grass, one the moon shone on directly, one was shaded by a tree and the last one was very high in the air. One cat sat on each rock and lots of cats sat in the center of the rocks, watching the one high in the air. But these cats were just as big as the tiger cubs, but they were full grown.
The cats on the rock looked up the slope towards the tigers for they had scented something strange. They gasped as they saw the magnificent coats of the five tiger cubs. The tiger cubs starred in horror as one of the cats on the rock jumped down. He was the cat on the shaded rock. He walked up the slope, and soon the other cats on the rocks followed. He called out to the tiger cubs when he was halfway up the slope, “Tiger cubs! Where did you come from? We mean you no harm. May we proceed up the slope?” the cats had an odd acent to the tigers, but they understood. The tiger cub with the darker coat nodded his head and the four cats moved closer stopping right infront of the five cubs.
They nodded their heads in greeting and the tiger cubs flicked their tails. A white female tiger cub spoke first. She was very brave and had electric blue eyes, “We come from a place of twolegs. They look in at us through an invisable wall. Our mothers escaped with us. The humans were right close to us so the dropped us hidden by a twoleg house. We waited for a couple of suns and than we walked in the direction our mothers had run. We came upon this forest and here we are. What are all these cats doing here, don’t cats like you live in twoleg nests?”
“You are thinking of kittypets little kit,” said the leader on the rock high in the air. “We live out here in the forest. In peace. Well, almost in peace. Come down to the clearing with us, will you?
The tiger cubs followd the four cats down the slope, this time, the cat that was on the rock in the air was leading them. “Please come over to the Air Rock with me,” she said.
They followed her to the Air Rock. The cubs sat infront of the rock while the cat jumped to the top of the rock. “Cats of the four clans, we have with us here five young tiger cubs. I think each clan should give them part of their territory in order for them to make their own clan. We should each give them land as close as possible to Four Rocks. Maybe they can help us with BoneClan. I give them AirClans territory of the Training Meadow. We can always train at Far Hill.
“I will give them ColdClans territory of RockGround, we can always train at Snow Peak,” said the cat on the shaded rock.
“LightClan will give them the territory of Cat Rock, we still have the Pond to hunt at, and they need as much prey as possible,” said the cat on the moonlit rock.
“And LakeClan shall give them Changing Leaves, we still have the beautiful place of Flower Valley. The only reason I give that to them is because it connects with Cat Rock and Rock Ground, but beware of the twolegs my tigers. And also water floods there easily, they will have a place to drink,” said the cat on the rock surrounded by marsh.
“Good, all territoies connect. We can keep them hidden from BoneClan now. They surround Four Rocks too.”
